How long will my docking station take to ship? Docksmith ships within 72 hours of your confirmed order. We do our best to ship as quickly as possible. Generally we ship our packages in the U.S via Priority Mail and for International shipments we use First Class mail. If you have specific shipping preferences please let us know!

Would you like to return or exchange your dock?
As long as your Dock is in the same condition as when you received it we can offer you a full refund or exchange it for another dock of your preference. If your dock has arrived damaged or if the cable does not work please let us know and we will replace it for you.

Docksmith is now making docking stations that are lifetime guaranteed and upgradeable! We have changed the design of our docks slightly so that the cable is removable. This means if a cable breaks or if you would like to upgrade to a new phone you can easily replace the cable with an adapter kit supplied by us. If you have any questions on upgrading or replacing cables and how the upgrade program works, our customer care team is available Monday through Friday from 9am – 3pm and can be contacted at [email protected] .

Do you have a fixed cable dock that you would like to upgrade? No worries, we can upgrade your dock too! All you have to do is send your dock to Docksmith’s wood working shop and we’ll transform your one of a kind piece into a dock with a removable cable. This means if you’re ready upgrade to an iPhone 5 your dock will change with you.

Did you buy an iPhone 5 or iPad 4 Dock that no longer works with iOS 7? We strive to make all of our customers 100 % satisfied and when Apple decided to change the operating system they made some third party cables no longer useable with the iPhones, iPods or iPods. Most of our cables will still work with iOS 7 but you might get a notificication that says “This cable or device may not be reliable with this iPhone”. This notification is meant to scare consumers into buying only Apple Brand products but the cables installed in our docks are from a high-end brand that will still charge and sync your iPhone, iPod or iPad.
Docksmith is not owned by Apple and this change was implemented by Apple with out warning iDevice cable developers around the world. All of our new docks are now being made with Apple Certified cables and we will do our best to replace any cable that does not work with your device. Please let us know if you purchased your dock after June 1st 2013 and you may be eligible for a free upgrade or replacement dock.
